Clean rooms with comfy beds and friendly staff. The pool area is nice, and the breakfast at the Waffle Spot is delicious. Only downside is the traffic noise and limited parking. Happy hour has great drink deals.

The pool area is nice and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. The rooms can be noisy due to thin walls, which was a bit bothersome. Happy hour has decent deals on drinks, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day.

Outstanding service, outstanding amenities with a delicious waffle restaurant and a beautifully decorated room that made our stay feel special.
Nothing could be improved.

The place has a cool nostalgic vibe and was cleaner than I thought. Staff were super friendly. My room was comfortable with a desk, fridge, and big TV. Pool area is awesome with a hot tub. No breakfast included, but the restaurant downstairs had great food! Good WiFi and laundry available too.

The room's layout felt a bit odd, with the washbasin immediately in front of the entrance. Room 123 seemed fine, but upon inspection, I found marks that raised concerns about cleanliness. Room 106 showed similar issues. Ryan at reception was exceptionally helpful, resolving the issues efficiently. Room 143, which we ended up in, felt more comfortable. The bed could use a thicker blanket—very thin and not cozy at all. Noise from outside was noticeable, sometimes disruptive. The pool area was refreshing and clean, offering a nice spot for relaxation after our initial hiccups.

Great location, clean rooms. Noisy rooftop sounds all night.

I could hear everything from the freeway and the rowdy guests outside; the walls are paper thin. It felt like I was in the middle of a party—definitely not the peaceful stay I was hoping for.

During my stay, I loved how close this place was to a range of San Diego's best attractions, like the USS Midway Museum which is only about 5 kilometers away, and the amazing San Diego Zoo, just a short drive at almost 4 kilometers; plus, you're surrounded by great restaurants like Amigos and Waffle Stop on the property, and a quick walk down the street leads you to a delightful liquor store packed with food options, baked goodies, salads, and even ready-to-eat dinners if you're on a budget; I also appreciated the spacious and modern rooms equipped with a mini-fridge and coffee maker, making my stay comfortable, but the cleanliness of the floor could use a bit more attention.

Kings Inn offers a warm welcome with exceptionally helpful staff. The pools are at a perfect temperature, and the location ensures quick access to attractions like SeaWorld. While breakfast options were hit or miss, the overall experience makes it a solid budget choice for travelers.

The rooms are older but nicely remodeled and very clean. The staff was cool, and the pool was a vibe for the kiddos. The property is convenient with everything nearby, like a pool and restaurants. The rooms face the parking lot, making it easy for loading and unloading stuff after a city trip to San Diego.
There was no soap at the sink, only body wash in the shower. Also, had to dish out $15 for parking next to the room, which was a bummer since it wasn't mentioned at check-in.

Spacious room with a nice bathroom and a huge mirror; I felt right at home. Cleanliness and quietness were big pluses. The friendly staff, especially Ryan, made check-in easy, though the initial room had some bed bug concerns. Thankfully, they swiftly moved us to a better room with complimentary breakfast. The hot tub was refreshing, and the surprisingly decent hotel coffee was a nice touch. Just a heads up—the $15 nightly parking fee was unexpected, and WiFi dropped a few times, but the cozy bed and great location almost made up for it.

The staff here really knows how to keep a smile on your face. The nearby restaurants are fantastic, and the pool is a perfect evening retreat.
The chemical smell in the room was a little strong.

The location was spot on, close to everything we needed. Plus, the room was clean and comfy, and Paula's restaurant was a real treat. Oh, and the snack selection at the front desk was a nice touch!
The walls were way too thin, and we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. the bathroom could have been cleaner - we found some hairs in the tub.

The pool area is clean and perfect for families. Unfortunately, the noise from the roof kept us up all night.

I loved the old school feel of the hotel! The staff were super friendly and the clean, spacious room made me feel right at home. Plus, the heated pool and garden area were perfect for relaxing in the sun!

Great location. Room 152 was conveniently near the workout area, pool, and spa. I appreciated the friendly staff and clean facilities. The jacuzzi and comfortable bed enhanced my stay. the impending $15 parking fee is concerning. It could deter repeat visitors. Lower rates or complimentary parking would be a wise move. WiFi connectivity issues were annoying, especially early mornings. I had a noisy experience with adjoining rooms; that’s a hit-or-miss. The bathroom, while functional, felt cramped. Check-in at 4 PM is a bit late, and a closer ice machine would be better. All in all, it's a solid spot but could use refinements to elevate the experience.

Ideal choice for a city break in San Diego with very good value for money. The swimming pool was brilliant.

The good stuff first - the Kings had really comfy beds and fluffy pillows which made for a good night's sleep. The room was also equipped with a flat-screen TV, which was great for some evening relaxation. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Another plus was that the room had an electric kettle, which was handy for making a quick cup of tea in the mornings. Now, onto the not-so-great parts. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the lack of heating in the pool. I was really looking forward to a swim, but the cold water put a damper on that plan. the room had a strange intermittent noise that sounds like someone showering, which was a bit annoying. And let's not forget the sewer-like odor in the bathroom - definitely not a pleasant experience. the Kings had its ups and downs. If they can address those issues, it could be a great budget-friendly option for a stay in San Diego. But for now, there are definitely some improvements needed to make it a more enjoyable experience. Cheers!

The hotel has a great play area for kids. They had fun while we relaxed by the pool.
It wasn't inexpensive, but I think the experience was worth it.

I spun in a rescue boat and explored SeaWorld's marine wonders. I met belugas, polar bears, and dolphins. I saw penguins too! Old Town was an adventure. Fun times!
I just loved hearing the symphony of drunk people outside my room all night long.

We recently visited the lush Aquatica SeaWorld's Waterpark® in Chula Vista with our family, and it was a fantastic experience. The high-speed thrills combined with up-close animal encounters made it a truly memorable day out. The beachside resort amenities offered a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement, catering to both kids and adults. The decorative borders atop the booths created an intimate setting where our family could unwind and enjoy quality time together.
In my wife's opinion, more shaded areas for families with children would be beneficial.

The pool at the hotel was rad after a crazy day at Aquatica Waterpark in Chula Vista! We had a blast chilling and sharing stories by the hot tub, surrounded by cool decor and really comfy beds.
I wish there was a hip hangout spot at night within the hotel that had a dance floor or karaoke for us party animals to keep the good times rolling! .

I chose Kings Inn for its convenient location near the USS Midway Museum, a place I've always wanted to visit. The hotel's dedication to providing facilities for guests with disabilities was a pleasant surprise. The access to shows, attractions, and meal facilities for guests with disabilities was truly commendable.
Lack of information about designated smoking section.
